Would you like to learn more about the new Museum aan het Vrijthof, including its renovation, architecture or temporal exhibitions? Sign up for our free tour! A guide will show you round the museum on Wednesday afternoons from 2 - 3 pm. Depending on the collection’s set-up, you will be informed about the museum’s exhibitions and architecture. You may take part on presentation of a valid entrance ticket. Booking beforehand is not compulsory.
Group tours
Groups as of 5 persons can book a guided tour. During this tour you will be immersed in the cultural history of Maastricht, and the actual content can be adjusted to your liking. Would you like to learn more about the temporal exhibitions, or about the renovation and architecture? Enjoy all the beauties Maastricht’s art history has to offer and book a specially adapted tour. Finish your visit in Grand Café Maastricht Soiron where you can relish the memory of this unique experience.
A guided tour costs € 6 per visitor together with the admission fee of € 8. The admission is € 6.50 per person based on a group of 15 persons or more. Next to that it is possible to combine a guided tour with coffee and pastry or wine with tapas in Grand Café Maastricht Soiron. The offer is not valid in combination with other promotions and the benefits of the friends pass and the Museum Pass.
The tour will take about an hour. Max. 20 persons per guide. Please make a reservation 2 weeks ahead for a guided tour to be sure there is a guide available.

School group tours
Museum aan het Vrijthof offers an educational program as of Autumn 2013. Of course it is also possible to book a guided tour for school groups earlier, in which the program can be adjusted to the age category of the pupils (primary school, secondary school, higher education). More information will follow.
